When Creating a new Variable be able to specify the Instruction Sets its should be included in

When creating a new variable it is created in the Instructions that are currently active. If that variable is needed in multi Instructions within a Lab profile it has to be manually created in each set of instruction.

Who would most benefit from this idea? Lab Developers or Lab Authors
What is the problem you are trying to solve?

This idea is trying to solve two problems:

  1. Improve operational efficiency by allowing a signle activity (creating a variable) to replace having to create a variable multiple times

  2. Currently creating the variable multiple times could lead to mistakes due to the repeatitive nature of this task.

    Thanks for taking a minute to send along this suggestion! Our Product Group has given this an initial review and assigned this a status of "Future Consideration." This status mean this Idea is not yet on our roadmap, but will be part of our normal prioritization processes.
