Activities especially Question based activities have no support for multiple languages so if a set of instructions has many activities (especially MCQ's) these will need to be recreated for the new language the Instruction Set has been cloned to. So when providing the option to Clone a set of instructions also provide the option to specify which activities to clone as well. This could then also update the instructions with the new Activity Tokens. The Lab Developer then just has to work on translating the activities.
I would see this as presenting the Lab Developer a number of options:
Do not Clone Activities
Only Clone Questions
Only Clone Automated Activities
Clone all Activities
Select which Activities to Clone

This feature is trying to reduce the effort of Lab Developers when producing an additional language of a set of instructions. We could also connect this with idea 594 and perform an automatic translation of the Activity where appropiate. |
