video player should allow selecting any section

The internal video player while working on a lab currently doesn’t allow to review a specific section e.g. at minute 2 of 5 again. You always have to review the whole video again – which is cumbersome for installation/configuration videos. That’s my experience and feedback from students of my classes.

It doesn’t allow to click at a specific section of the video or use rewind or fast forward functions like every standard video player does.

Who would most benefit from this idea? Lab Learners or Exam-takers
What is the problem you are trying to solve?

Change suggestion: Allow the internal video player to select specific sections, and allow rewind and fast forward buttons.

Thanks again for this idea. We have moved this idea to "Future Consideration" as the exposure of simple video player controls could have a strong impact on user satisfaction. This adds this idea to the next phase of the evaluation process.

Thank you for your idea. Moving this into further planning to look at the exposed capabilities of the embedded video player.

Video embedded in LOD labs needs to have access to controls for participants to rewind or fast forward through the content. The only option right now is to restart the video. The only tool available is a status bar, but the user cannot search through the video by sliding the search.
