On occasion it would be nice to add a special label or watermark to an existing Course Catalog image. For instance, when doing maintenance (applying licenses, windows updates, minor updates...) we typically disable the course and archive it. This removes the course from the catalog which leads to some confusion. We would prefer to leave the Course in the Catalog but in a non-launchable mode (is not archived but is temporarily disabled) and apply a custom label like "Under Maintenance" or "Temporarily Unavailable" or some other text. This would profile the same kind of high-impact visibility as the default "Featured" and "New" labels.
At the same time it would be useful to be able to determine where to display the label (top left, top center, top right, middle left, middle center, middle right, bottom left, bottom center, bottom right) or diagonally. It would also be nice if we could set the colour, font and other text attributes.
