Execute automation script when TMS trigger event happens

This is similar to the new Notifications feature that allows us to configure an email to be sent when a particular trigger event happens in the TMS (e.g. a new user is created). I would like to be able to configure an automation script to be triggered by one of these events, rather than a notification email. For example, I could have a script that is triggered by user creation that automatically assigns the new user to the appropriate self-paced subscription, based on their email address.

    This is an intriguing idea. Do you have any other examples of some of the trigger actions that might be beneficial for you to enable?

    For other examples, this could be used extensively for integration with external systems. For instance, someone might need to trigger a script when a new class is created in the TMS that will be delivered by a certain training partner, where the script connects to their LMS's API to sync the class data. Or we might use this to send usage data to Salesforce, so our sales team can view course assignment creation & completion for individuals on the user's Salesforce contact profile.
