Provide an API function in the LOD Development environment to retrieve all elements of a Lab Profile much like the Dev URL "https://labondemand.com/LabProfile/Export/<Lab_ID>" provides. This would allow users to quickly create and update a local repository of Automated Activity scripts, Lab Questions and Life Cycle Actions.
Currently there is no way to search scripts or questions that are used in LOD Labs so the ability to create a local script repository would be essential to quickly constructing useful lab scripts without significant duplication of effort.
Any lab developer should find such a beast extremely useful.

Thanks for taking some time to send along this suggestion! Our Product Group has given this an initial review... we love it. We cannot yet commit to a specific timeframe, but we've assigned this as "Likely to Implement," so stay tuned to this thread for updates over the next few weeks or months.
If you have additional context or would like to generate more demand, feel free to edit your original post and/or invite your peers to upvote your Idea.
This is now being pursued as a Q1 item for the Connect team to deliver. We are additionally exploring how this can be tied into a webhook to trigger when a profile is saved. I will post an update when a more firm timeline has been determined and the scope has been confirmed.
This is very important to our organization too. Will you provide a status as to when we can expect this functionality?
Also, there is, currently, no reliable backup of the Lab Series, Lab Profiles and VM Profiles. Extending this idea of an API to the Export function for Lab Series, Lab Profiles and VM Profiles would provide clients the ability to create their own backup system for these areas.
