As an Instructor, we used to be able to reset student passwords. Very useful as often on the second day of class a student can't remember the password they set the previous day. I have has to do this a number of times, but as of the security update a few months ago where we were forced to log in with a different login screen than before, this feature does not work. I can still access the password reset for the student and type in a new password, but the password does not change. Students have also said that the password reset that they can use does not send them an email to reset their password, and they end up having to contact your support team to get it done.
